Current Mood: cheerful
Current Music: Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas!
My closest freinds in 2005- Lea:
I have gotten close to several members of Lea over the year I have been there.
Guntur/Fenti- Plain old Zack to me! The guy that convinced me to stay in the online TLK fandom, and led me to Lea. He has a huge heart, and an awsome sence of humor.
Utora- My single Lea referal. Utora can be perplexing at times, since she randomly changes her gender on Lea, and can seem like more then one person. She has a crazy random side, and a deep thoughtfull side. Talk about dual personalities! She is also a fellow Believer in Christ.
Kove The Lion- My cry on shoulder through the later part of this year. He was there anytime I needed someone to talk to and helped me through the pain of my mother's cancer.
SimbaTheLion- Yeah I know. We arn't as good freinds as we used to be. I hurt him in a way that he may never be able to forgive completly. I don't blame him. Still, what he showed me in the beginning of the year kept me alive.
ChildOfThePride- She is a unique individual. I can proudly say that I showed her the light, though. I think she is more random then she would like to let onto.
Akiko- The person closest to my heart. Autumn is the person I would want to meet in real life, as we have so much in common, and I think we could get along very well. Her artwork truly inspires me.
Tiikeri- Not being left out this time, mate! ;) You have had your ups and downs, and used your expierence to help others. You are quiet, and that tends to make you a bit invisable at times, but you always have time to talk on MSN.
Scout- I wish I had more time to talk to you, as you are the only person I know who is into both TLK and wrestling as I am. I never got to tell you about meeting Booker T, did I? I'll try to cath you when I get a chance.
Talli- Is there anyone he doesn't at least greet everyday. had some intereting verbal IMs with him.
Ghalati- I wish you could see what I am typing, but you probably never well. What your drugged up parents do to you is pure bull shit. The way they had you treat Brad, forcing you to humiliate your best friend in front of the entire forum, because they were afraid he would hep you is fucking crazy. I promice that we will find a way to get you out of there. ;.(
Lunarcat, Eva Janus, Azerane- My fan artists. I wanted to thank you guys for the beautiful pics of Roquivo that you drew for me.
Mufasa, Sarabi, Nathalie, Sonique, Nuka, Vidan, Simba 04', Sharifu, SimbaTheMighty- The Lea mod team. Simply wanted to give you a big thanks for giving me a chance to help Lea, and espicially to Nathalie, Sonique, and Nuka for the encouragement and gratitude.
GT- This section will be a bit smaller:
enzo and T-Bone- My two closest online freinds for a long time. The damn timezones screw us up, but I have had some of the longest and deepest conversations with you two.
Michelle- A very special individual. Also possibly the world's biggest RVD fan! I hope you get those figuring you wanted for Christmas!
Freddiekracker- My closest GT friend. We have has some crazy ass conversations on AIM, and your verbal assaults on JBL, Vince McMahon, and George Bush will never be forgotten. Glad to see you retire from the back yard secen, and preserve the few marbles you have left "up stairs"! lol
man of sno- A very misunderstood individual. Used to be quite the trouble maker, but now just wants a second chance. I know him well enough to be on a first name basis with him, and enjoy his company.
Stroke- Bet you never saw this one coming! I added him mainly because I find him so dang intruiging. He likes to act like a complete ass on GT, but on MSN he is extremely intelligent and calm. He can rival Paul Heyman in the "evil genius" department.
Psychosis- The second member of the Dead Pool, the first being Freddie. The third member, Christian Cage, I don't know as well. Psychosis is the guy I turn to whan I want a non-crazy discussion. He also taught the whole forum why we shouldn't drink and drive. Hey, nice to see your finally back on your feet, buddy! ;)
KoPODa- The News anchor! lol I think me and Poda tend to be on the same page, because we think very much alike. Always after the news, and always the first one to post a conplaint or a warning. I can always go to him if I have a question about wrestling or GT, and always expet a full answer.
Trish'sToyboy- Argh! I'm SO going to miss you so much now that you retired. I loved your season and hope to catch on MSN sometime.
Kalvain- Who would have ever thought it? Half a year ago, we were trying to kill eachother over the internet. Now we chat like old freinds on IM. Me friendship with the former Grecian has been a total rollercoaster ride, but has been a thrill all the way.
BatsitaPowerbomb, DP, JaeTM, RKO, Adam_BOMB- My casual aquaintences that I butt heads with off GT from time to time. Yeah, I know, I need to be on IM more.
Johnny.Perfect, GTF, LionHeart, SK, MSS- Guess this wasn't the year for you guys. I like you all, but nothing really clicked between us, and for a few of you, things simply fell apart. I have to admit that it is extremely arkward to be at odds with the main mod of the forum, while getting along with most everybody else. Well, being as it is almost a new year, this is the perfect time to turn over a new leaf. I can only hope that 2006 will be better for us.

OK, I am going to list my personal wrestling awards:
Rookie of the Year- Mr. Ken Kennedy.
Kennedy very quickly stormed into WWE, making his own announcing on his way, and impressed us all real quick. Within weeks, he was seen as a legitimate US title contender. Wowed audiences with his top rope Fireman's Carry roll, The Green Bay Plunge.
Breakout Superstar- Batista
At this time last year, Dave Batista was [laying bodyguard to the then big headed Triple H. Now he is the World Heavyweight Champion. Dominated the likes of HHH, JBL, Booker T, and Eddie Guerrero throughout the year. With only two weeks to go in 2005, Batista made another mark by capturing the WWE Tag team Champinship with Rey Mysterio, becoming the first Double Champion since Triple H held the IC and tag belts back in 2000.
Most Improoved- Randy Orton
The guy is actually believeable and fun to watch now. Ever since he came back from his shoulder injury and jumped to Smackdown to start a long term fued with The Undertaker, he has simply been on fire. He is actually higher ranked now then as World Heavyweiht Champion. Bob Orton Jr. as manager is the sugar on top.
Best Return- Randy Orton
See above.
Independent Standout- "American Dragon" Brian Danielson
Despite not being in WWE or TNA, Shawn Michaels traniee, American Dragon, has made many headlines this year, most notable taking the ZERO Junior Heavyweight and ROH Heavyweight titles. By then end of 2006, Danielson will have made the big leap from indies to TNA or WWE.
Most Inspirational- Eddie Guerrero
Eddie Guerero spent many years addicted to drugs and alcohol, and it got to the point where he had lost his job, his family, and even his freedom. At his lowest point, he was near death in a Peurto Rico prison. He realized he had to turn his life around. He quit the abusive substances, and worked his ass of to get back to the basics, and kept going. At No Way OUt 2004, his work payed off when he realized his dream of being WWE Champion. He added sugar to this feat by retaining at WresleMania the folowing month, and celebrated with his best friend, and World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Benit. That is why the wrestling world was shocked when on the morning of November 13, 2005, Eddie Guerrero suddenly passed away. Eddie was able to quit the drugs, but they still ultimatly ended his life. Autopsies showed that Guerrero had died of massive heart failure.Guerrero showed us all that you can do anything if you put your heart to it, even defy fate.
Eduarto "Eddie" Gory Guerrero 1967-2005 RIP
Tag Team of 2005- MNM
Was there anybody even close to as dominent as Joey Murcury and Johnny Nitro? Holding the WWE Tag Team Championship for well over half the year, theese rookies look like staged veterans in and out of the ring. Hell, they could show the vetarans a thing or two. Anybody that can pin one of the legendary Road Warriors(Animal) in their rookie year deserves the award. The crafty and spicy Melina was a most welcome and needed addition to the divas.
Woman 2005- Victoria
Maybe she didn't win the Woman's Championship, and maybe she didn't win any fueds, but she single handedly carried the woman's division through the first half of the year, and played her role of supporting character in the second half perfectly. She can also be credited for turning Candice into the superstar she is now.
Wrestler 2005- Batista
2005 WAS Batista. You may be wondering about John Cena, but he was getting booed by the end of the year. JBL and Triple H both somehow found themselves in the midcard for the later part of the year. Kurt Angle was a close second, and would take the RAW Superstar of the Year award, but Batista had a more sucsessful year. Winning the Royal Rumble by eliminating John Cena, defetaing Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania, retaining the title all throughout the year, defeating JBL in a Street Fight at SummerSlam, Having a particular memorial angle with Eddie Guerrero witch resulted in Guerrero's final face turn, and winning the WWE Tag Team Championship with Rey Mysterio. Batista simply dominated 2005.
Who to watch out for in 2006:
Samoa Joe- You see the passion and agression of this guy? He has it all. Mark my words, the NWA Championship will be on his waist by the end of 2006.
Bobby Lashley- He will be the next Goldberg/Brock Lesner, only with more passion and respect for the sport. Watch for him to get the respect and admiration that the afore mentioned men took for granted, and acctually appriciate it.
Trevor Murdoch- Son of Dusty Rhodes has a huge year ahead of him. he may be ugly as sin, but he has in ring talenttalent and is working hard to improove his mic skills.
Kid Kash- He will personify the cruiserweight division in 2006. Nuff said.
CM Punk- For those who haven't seen this OVW standout, you are in for a pleasent surprise. The clean living Raven-esque Punk has a bright spot and will take the WWE by storm with his daredevil tactics and super charisma.
In closing, I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanakuah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Yule, Happy Solistice, ect. And best of luck for 2006! |
